Sakura Kinomoto is just an average school girl, as always. Well, one day after school, at her house, she herd a strange noise coming from the basement. Sakura was afraid, but she had to check it out for herself since her father or brother weren't around. So she goes on ahead in the basement, and comes across a book that says "The Clow". Sakura was unaware that powerful Clow Cards where inside. She read the first card, The Windy, and all of a sudden a strong gust of wind blew all the cards away except The Windy. Sakura dropped the book and Kero, the beast guardian of The Clow book, appeared.
Later that night Kero explained mostly everything to Sakura and she became a Card Captor! The Fly card was the very first one she had to capture. She does so using The Windy card to help her. Now, only Tomoyo (Madison) knew about this. Tomoyo is Sakura's best friend. When Sakura heads out onto her next capture, Tomoyo tags along and records it on video. Through out the series she records all her captures, but misses a few.
Li (Lee) and Mei Ling (Mei Linn) end up tagging along with Sakura, also. Li is a card captor too, but Mei isn't. Mei doesn't have magical powers and isn't aware on how powerful and dangerous these cards really are. Yes, she does leave during sometime and doesn't come back. We are all happy when she does!!
(Warning: Next paragraphs or so are major spoilers!) Much later on when Sakura captures all the cards, Yuki (Julian) reveals his true form!! And he becomes Yue! A guardian of The Clow book. Kero turns into his true form as a big lion thingy and is Kero-Beros. Sakura has to fight Yue and defeat him in order to be the new master of the Clow Cards. Li also a few cards, and was the first to fight but fails. Sakura was next and came so close to failing, but she pulls threw and Yue is defeated. Yue grants Sakura as his new master. And Sakura transformed her staff into a new one!
Three new strange people arrive. Eriol, Ruby Moon, and... something sun...(I dun know! I'm sorry!!). They have powers, and yes they have to deal with this Clow business. Sakura has to quickly change all her Clow Cards into Star Cards before it is too late! The cards turn all pink and a new symbol apear on the back of them. Toya starts to figure out Yuki's and Sakura's powers, and he too is descovering his own powers....
